About the play
Sti Cazzi’s latest play, performed at the Glicker Milstein Theater in April of 2024. Loosely inspired by Michael McClure’s The Beard, GRAAHR! is an original play written and directed by Susannah Yezzi, exploring themes of sex, memory, iconography, and loneliness in the computer age. Starring Conor Spangfort (Mikey), Rosalind Joyce (Jean Harlow), and Matty Darragh-Ford (Billy the Kid), Graaahr! featured heavy projections and teletheatrics filmed by Olivia Wien, Oonagh Mockler, and Milly Hopkins.
Half-film, half-play, Graahr! follows a man named Mikey, and takes place exclusively in his fantasy world. Jean Harlow and Billy the Kid visit him, and just won’t leave. They are all the same. Everything is perfectly the same in eternity…just an endless cycle of cumming, cum, and came. Love in Eternity!
All proceeds from this show went to support humanitarian aid efforts in Gaza.

A Short Film by Oonagh Mockler:
Oonagh, who also served as cinematographer for the play, documented the play’s conception from the writing phase, to our first performance!
